The Angry Baker

I have been to the Angry Baker 3 times now, and I've gotten yummy things each time. I must admit that I've fallen in love with 2 items in particular. I love their egg on scone sandwich. The egg is cooked to order and served on a swiss/bacon/chive scone with Ludlow cheese. YUM! I crave the things! I also love their chocolate sandwich cookies. 2 rich chocolate shortbread cookies that sandwich delicious buttercream/hazelnut filling. Doesn't that make you want to run out and buy a few?

This local bakery is right across the street from Yellow Brick Pizza, which I have not yet visited (soon, Young Paduan).

I originally went to The Angry Baker when they had a Living Social Coupon to buy baked goods, $20 worth for $10, I think it was. I'm all over those local bargains! I'm glad they had the coupon deal, because it was fun to go in to the quirky little corner bakery and buy some yummies to try. Since it seemed like "found" money, I experimented and got one each of several cookies and scones. A few of the cookies seemed more ordinary than the price would indicate, but those choco ones mentioned above and the little Chai-flavored sandwich cookies they had at the time were also yummers.

I will definitely go back.

I won't, however, contrive to swipe cookies like the crow and the fox (see below)!

I enjoy the Scone there as well. I've not had it with the egg, but I must try it now!!
