This new blog is dedicated to all the small, local eateries on the Near East Side of Columbus! We are a group of foodies who happen to work in the area, and we're constantly on the lookout for great local eats. We like locally owned and operated shops, food trucks and restaurants, and if they have other specialities like locally grown ingredients or ethnic cuisine, so much the better!
What do we mean by the Near East Side? We're talking Parsons and East to about Alum Creek, North to 670, South to Refugee/Marion. We might expand our area as time goes by, and we might talk about a few locally owned spots slightly outside this arena, but mostly we'll be in this vicinity. I've made a map:
