Black Creek Bistro

Have you been to Black Creek Bistro yet?  If you haven't, you should definitely try it out . . . on a payday.  This delicious restaurant is tucked into a storefront on Parsons across from the old firehouse (I think?) where there is actually decent off-street parking.  Part of the Old Town East revival, BCB has excellent gourmet food prepared fresh with locally grown ingredients.  The menu changes often, and they have specials based on what is in season.  They'll send out emails and post on Facebook, too, which often sets my mouth watering.  A typical dinner there is about $25.00 for me, which is over what I like to pay on a "normal" night, but honestly, the food is SO WORTH IT!  They often participate in Local Food Week events and things like that, so keep your eyes peeled for opportunities to go taste their yummies!
